Here's to adventures: weddings + international travel

I'm so excited to announce all the things that are already falling into place for this year! In terms of things down the road, I've booked two weddings during the upcoming months and couldn't be more excited! I never get tired of seeing two people come together as one in love, and now I get to document it! I'm so grateful to these two brides for asking me to be a part of their special days!

Next, in terms of sooner projects: I'm headed to Santa Rosa de Copán, Honduras in about three weeks! This will be my first time out of the country, and it's with such a wonderful organization. I am working for Central American Medical Outreach (CAMO), which describes themselves as follows: "CAMO is a non-denominational, Christian-based, humanitarian organization that brings life-saving medical services, education, and community development to Central America. CAMO provides more than 140,000 life-saving services each year to impoverished people who otherwise would not have access to aid." One of my favorite things about CAMO is their "non-Bandaid approach" to providing medical assistance. This is not a group that sends down so-called "volun-tourists"; CAMO has created a hospital, school, community center, women's shelter house, and so much more. They are not only there to provide help to others in need, but to stay and train and help the people of Honduras. I could go on and on (and I will, as the trip nears), but I'll just let you read all about them for yourself at www.camo.org.

I can't wait to get started on updating this website more and more, and I'm excited to have you following along during my adventures in the coming months!
